Jewish Pregnancy and Parenthood Workshop
Connect with other expectant parents while exploring Jewish traditions and rituals to enrich your pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting journey.
About the Jewish Pregnancy and Parenthood Workshop
Intended for expectant parents who choose to take a childbirth education class elsewhere, this class builds community while focusing on the Jewish elements of the core class.
It includes Jewish verses, images, and music for comfort and inspiration during labor and delivery, prayers for pregnancy and childbirth, choosing a name, welcome ceremonies/Brit Milah/Brit Bat, Jewish bedtime and morning rituals, a year of “Shehechiyanu moments – big firsts!”, and building a Jewish home.
We don’t want cost to be a barrier. If you need special pricing arrangements, please don’t hesitate to contact Rabbi Miriam at RabbiMiriam@HavaNaBaby.org.
